Social Media 101

Social media and the finance industry may not sound like a natural fit, but many financial institutions are starting to recognize the opportunities it can provide. In this session, Emily will provide an overview of the current social media platforms and the ways in which they can be leveraged both for businesses and executives. She will review best practices and tips for utilizing social to increase exposure, foster trust, establish thought leadership and enhance client relationships. This session will help you better understand how to navigate and take advantage of the social media landscape, even within the restrictions of compliance.

State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
