Emily Giegerich is the Marketing & Social Media Manager at Squeaky Wheel Media, an award-winning digital agency in New York City. In this role, she is responsible for leading the ideation and implementation of social strategies for clients across all industries, including those with complicated compliance-related challenges such as the finance and legal. Emily also heads up the communications efforts of Squeaky’s internal platform, IHadCancer.com, which is the most socially-engaged community for cancer survivors, supporters and fighters online today. Under her leadership, IHadCancer has grown to consist of more than 250,000 people worldwide and has received many social accolades such as ‘Best Community Website’ and ‘Best Facebook Engagement’.
