FEI Boston has created a Future Leaders Program designed to provide a community for early and midlevel financial professionals. Whether you are a Senior Accountant, Staff Auditor, FP&A or similar position, this Future Leaders & Executive (FLEX) group is designed for and created by your peers.

Program Features:

  • New England based networking group for early career individuals with a career focus in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Treasury, Tax and Compliance
  • Quarterly program events
  • Designated LinkedIn Group to connect with peers and mentors in a similar career path
  • The opportunity to grow and apply to be a Member of FEI Boston upon meeting eligibility criteria

Eligibility

In our infancy, we are leaning on existing Members, existing partners and prior FEI Boston Academic Scholarship winners to help nominate and introduce fellow employees at their companies or within their networks that meet these qualifications and have these interests:

  • Current early/mid career finance professionals in New England
  • Aspiring CFOs, CAOs, Controllers, Treasurers and finance leaders
  • FEI Scholarship award recipients
  • Passionate about networking and advancing the success of financial leaders, their organizations, and the profession

We meet formally 3-4 times per year. We look to have fun, connect peers with similar career goals as you, and learn from each other and some of our tremendous resources on the FEI Boston Board & Partners.

Background

Financial Executives International (FEI) was established in 1931 with the main purpose of connecting financial leaders. As one of the largest chapters among more than 60 across the country, FEI Boston has been committed to networking in the Greater Boston area for almost as long. Representing a broad spectrum of industries and company sizes, membership provides the opportunity to interact, learn and network with local, regional, and national financial leaders.
