Olga Yasinnik, MBA, CPA

Olga specializes in driving high-energy audit teams, and advising sophisticated nonprofit organizations, including multi-services human & social services providers, community development corporations (CDCs) and their affordable housing development projects. She provides proactive guidance to these clients who receive state and federal grants and must file Uniform Financial Reports (UFRs) and require audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards. Olga has extensive experienced in advising clients with projects funded by Low Income Housing and Historical Tax Credits. She is an active leader of AAF’s Affordable Housing and Real Estate Community Development, and Human & Social Services practices. 

Olga is an active member of AAFCPAs’ Accounting & Auditing Committee, and an in-house technical trainer on ethical standards of professional conduct and business practices, state and federal grant compliance, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) audits, and the FASB's new lease accounting standard. Olga is a leader in AAFCPAs’ Lease Accounting Standard Task Force and has been devoted to understanding and interpreting the new ASU since the FASB announced the project. She authored a detailed Whitepaper, outlining the significant changes resulting from the new ASU, including: a comprehensive outline of the scope of the new lease standard, effective dates, disclosure requirements, and practical considerations for lessees and lessors. Olga is an alumna of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce/Simmons School of Management 2014-2015 Women’s Leadership Program. She is a past winner of AAFCPAs’ peer-nominated Excellence in Client Service award, in recognition of her exceptional efforts, and she has been serving AAF clients with distinction since 2009. She speaks English, Ukrainian and Russian.
