Dr. Marianne Seiler

Dr. Seiler is currently serves on the faculty at Northwestern and Columbia University in the master’s programs in predictive analytics.   Additionally, she engages in research and consulting work focused on the application of data in customer facing functions.

Dr. Seiler has over 30 years of experience in applying data to drive excellence in sales and marketing.   She has experience working with companies across a range of industries (consumer products, retail, high tech, telecom, insurance, resources, and banking) and business models (B2C, B2B, B2B2C).  As an executive at Accenture, Dr. Seiler led the firm’s offerings in distribution, marketing and sales analytics for Financial Services companies. 

Currently, she works with her clients to drive growth and shareholder value through the application of analytics.  Her special expertise is in helping clients restructure organizations, re-engineer processes, implement enabling technologies and establish performance metrics necessary to convert analytic insights into market actions. 

While at Accenture, Dr. Seiler led the creation of Accenture’s point-of-view and assets on using analytics in Lead Management and Small to Medium Business.  In addition, she formed and led the firm’s global practice on marketing operations.   Before joining Accenture, she held marketing and sales positions in the media/entertainment and industries. 

Dr. Seiler has been active in research and writing with a special focus on insight-driven marketing, high performance customer management and the application of analytics in customer-facing functions.  Her recent focus is in the areas of customer experience management and insight driven sales lead generation. 

Dr. Seiler has a doctorate in management from Claremont Graduate University, an MBA from University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor in Fine Arts – Journalism from Southern Methodist University.
