Rich McLaughlin

Rich McLaughlin has extensive facilitation experience, including leadership development, organisational effectiveness, change initiatives and high-performance teams for Fortune 500 companies. Rich enjoys working with leaders to develop behaviours that support engagement, performance improvement and innovation.

Background
As a TQM Education Manager, Rich spent time developing and honing his instructional design and change management skills. He then went on to work in Organizational Effectiveness working on several engagement projects. His past experience has lead Rich to write Rules of Engagement: A Story About How Leaders Can More Effectively Engage Employees and co-author The Experience-Based Learning Guide: Consulting Tools and Exercises that Facilitate team Performance and Learning Through Action.

Rich’s clients value the no nonsense way he works with their people whether facilitating a leadership workshop, working with a specific team, or challenging employees to be more accountable for the whole. Rich excels at engaging groups to innovate and improve operations by taking them through structured discussions that allow the best of the group’s thinking to emerge.  He also enjoys helping leaders craft a compelling story that engages and challenges their respective teams to take things to the next level. He also brings an experiential approach in his work with client teams.
