Adam Green

Adam is a third-year law student at Michigan State University College of Law.  Adam is also a member of Michigan State University’s Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, where he started UniServices, Inc.  UniServices is now a venture-backed company doing a pre-seed investment round and expanding to more colleges.  Prior to law school and UniServices, Adam studied Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy through Michigan State University’s James Madison College, and History through Michigan State University’s College of Social Science.  Adam was a paid staffer, specifically a Legislative Aide, to a former Michigan Speaker of the House throughout his three undergraduate years at Michigan State.  For his work, Adam had the honor of receiving the Frank Fitzgerald Award and Scholarship for his outstanding achievements as a student staffer for the MI House of Representatives.  At MSU, Adam was elected to serve as General Assembly Representative for the James Madison College to the Associated Students of Michigan State University (ASMSU) student government.  In ASMSU, Adam was elected Chairman of the Finance Committee and helped to oversee $2M worth of funding for the organization.  One of Adam’s key research topics while at MSU was the promotion of bipartisan civil discourse, in which he founded a student organization to primarily serve that promotion.  Adam worked closely with MSU’s Office of Governmental Affairs on hosting multiple bipartisan political debates during his time at Michigan State, including most notably a bipartisan forum with former MI Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley (R), and current MI Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist (D), as well as a Gubernatorial debate forum.  For his work on bipartisan civil discourse at MSU, Adam was invited to speak at a TEDx event held at Valparaiso University on the topic, which was broadcast to thousands of viewers across the country.  Adam has been interviewed by WKAR, FOX47, WILNS, WILX, and various local radio stations regarding his work at MSU.  As a senior, Adam was invited to serve on Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s Student Advisory Task Force on voting rights, and still advises new student task force members today.  Adam’s primary focuses are corporate business law & constitutional law.  During his time at MSU’s College of Law, Adam has worked under Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Mark T. Boonstra as a Judicial Intern, and as a Legal Assistant to the Michigan House of Representatives Office of the Legal Counsel.
