Event Agenda
4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.- Career Development Session, "Executive Perspectives on Top Risks for 2023 and 2032" presented by Kathy Spearing, District Director, Wisconsin and Eastern Michigan,Robert Half

Learning Objectives:
  • The Key Issues Being Talked About in the Boardroom and by the C-Suite
  • How Hiring and Retention is Impacted
  • How to Best Position Yourself as an Accounting/Finance Professional
The level of uncertainty and velocity of change in today’s global marketplace continue to produce an array of potential risks that can disrupt an organization’s business model and strategic plan on very short notice. The results of Protiviti’s latest Top Risks Survey indicate the business landscape, to no surprise, looks much riskier for 2023 compared with this time last year. In fact, this year’s survey reveals that executives and directors perceive the current business environment as the riskiest in the 11 years we have conducted this study.
Protiviti and NC State University’s ERM Initiative are pleased to provide this report focusing on the top risks for the short term — 2023— and the long term — 2032 — from 1,304 respondents in C-suite and board positions in organizations around the globe.
