Matt Durkin is a Senior Vice President and Practice Director with Robert Half, the world’s first and largest talent solutions firm. Based in the company’s Jersey City office, he is responsible for client development in both the New York and New Jersey markets. Matt focuses on cultivating client relationships for the company’s three financial lines of business: Robert Half Finance & Accounting, Contract Finance & Accounting and Robert Half Management Resources. With over 20 years of tenure at the firm, he has facilitated thousands of successful placements and consistently ranks as one of Robert Half’s top performers. Prior to joining Robert Half, Matt worked for UBS in the Commission Accounting area.
Actively engaged in the local financial community, he serves on the Parish Finance Council and represents Robert Half at the North Jersey Chapter of the Financial Executive Institute (FEI). Matt is also a sought-after speaker, sharing insights on finance and accounting trends with groups like the CFO Studio and Grant Thornton’s Financial Executives in Transition. He holds a BS from Marist College and resides in his native Jersey Shore with his wife and three children. He is a lifelong Jersey Shore native and resides there with his wife and three children.
