Tell us a little bit about your career, educational/professional background and how you got to where you are today.

After completing my master's degree in accounting, I made the decision to relocate to the Tampa Bay area to start my career with PwC. My time there provided me with invaluable experience and insights into the accounting and finance industry, laying a solid foundation for my future endeavors. As I transitioned from public accounting, I turned to Vaco for job opportunities, and through Vaco, I not only secured a rewarding position but also embarked on an exciting professional journey.

I began as a recruiter and have advanced to assume leadership of the Vaco Tampa office. In this capacity, I prioritize the cultivation of client and candidate relationships while guiding the growth of our operations.

What is your best networking tip?

My top networking tip is to always stay open to meeting new people and building connections wherever you go. Whether you're at the store, in your neighborhood, playing sports, at work, or volunteering in your community, be open to striking up conversations. You never know who you might meet or how they could help you in the future. Keep networking consistently by being present in different social and professional settings. It's not just about collecting contacts—it's about building genuine relationships that can benefit everyone involved. So, never underestimate the power of networking and keep being open to new opportunities.

What are some of your personal hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors. My hobbies include boating with my family, or really anything that allows us to spend a day in the sun. Cooking is another passion of mine—I love trying out new recipes and sharing them with friends and family. Above all, spending time with my children is my top priority. Whether we're exploring outdoors, cooking together, or relaxing at home, their happiness is my happiness.
