Tractor Supply Company and Southern Champion Tray Team Up with FEI for Spring Sessions

Kurt Barton, CFO, and his team from Tractor Supply Company presented at the April meeting giving an oveview of the company's remarkable growth story. As a Fortune 500 company with annual revenues exceeding $14billion, Tractor Supply exemplifies strategic financial management in a fast-paced environment. Mr. Barton showcased how the finance function evolved to support the business growth as well as shared how AI technology is enhancing the customer experience at their retail locations.

In May, FEI members were treated to a tour of Southern Champion Tray, a highly regarded company in Chattanooga's business community. With nearly a century of experience in producing paperboard packaging for multi end-users, the legacy of its founder continues to be a part of the DNA of the company's values and culture today. Attendees gained invaluable insights into the processes and state-of-the-art machinery driving the production of everyday essentials including grocery store staples and to-go food boxes. Throughout the tour, company leaders emphasized its people-centric approach to business excellence and sustaining the company's long-term success.
