Timothy DiNapoli

Since joining GAO in 1986, Mr. DiNapoli has examined a range of critical acquisition issues, particular at DOD, where he assessed activities in Iraq and Afghanistan, the capacity of DOD’s acquisition workforce, and issues associated with auditing and contractor business system reviews. At the federal level, Mr. DiNapoli has assessed agency efforts to adopt strategic sourcing concepts.

 

Mr. DiNapoli was detailed to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (2007) and led GAO’s office in Baghdad (2009). He has testified before Congress on the use of contractors in contingency environments and within the intelligence community.

 

Mr. DiNapoli received his Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame.
