Ms. Carol Wester

Carol Wester is a consultant for Aventine Hill Partners.  She has a BBA in Finance from Texas State University and an MBA from Baylor University.  She has been a consultant for almost 20 years.  She specializes in system integrity, data quality, and business intelligence.
 
The largest financial project she ever completed was pricing a global telecom deal worth $1.2B in 24 hours, winning the bid due to a quick turn-around.
 
The largest system project she ever completed was as the lead consultant on AT&T’s Teradata implementation.  She was responsible for developing the corporate data layer.
 
Carol has been married to Lance Wester for 27 years.  They have a 22-year-old son, Dylan who is a senior, chemistry major at Baylor University.  Carol and her husband own two small businesses (a cable splicing business and a vacation home rental business). 
 
Carol has been a City Council Member for the City of Staples since 2008.  Carol was the Chairperson of the Incorporate Staples Committee where she was instrumental in getting the City incorporated. 
 
Carol also worked to have laws changed in the State of Texas.  She played a lead role in moving Texas water rate regulation from TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) to the PUC (Public Utility Commission).
 
Carol’s projects/implementations have included Teradata, Oracle Global Safety, OBIEE, system evaluation, system selection, process improvement/automation, data quality, procurement initiatives, and preparation of financial, volumes, budget and other strategic data.
