Esther joined Workiva in 2024 with over 15 years of experience in corporate sustainability, which she gained through consulting and in-house roles. Prior to Workiva she was responsible for sustainability reporting and disclosures at Standard Chartered in the Chief Sustainability Officer’s team. Before that, she led a boutique strategic sustainability advisory firm called Corporate Citizenship (now part of SLR) with a dedicated team across five hubs located in the UK, USA, Singapore, Chile and Australia.
Through tailored multi-year advisory projects, she supported public and private companies in integrating sustainable business practices as well as measuring and reporting on their environmental and social impact. Her sector expertise covers financial services, healthcare, food and beverage and consumer goods. As an industry principal for sustainability and ESG (environment, social and governance) at Workiva she will bring her practical subject matter expertise to support regional growth in EMEA and the continuous development of our platform. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Corporate Governance and Ethics.
