Ms. Sosa was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She is a graduate of Providence High School and earned a B.B.A. and M.S. from St. Mary’s University (San Antonio).
2003, joined KLRN as a Programming Assistant
2015 Director of Programming
- develops and manages the programming strategy for 4 KLRN channels,
- oversees the Traffic department
- on-air talent for pledge appeals and weekly promotional spots
- leads sales presentations to current and potential underwriting clients
- coordinates with marketing staff to insure that program promotion strategies are seamless across on-air and online platforms
Since 2015 Ms. Sosa serves as a reader and panelist for several editorial committees that select programming for national distribution including:
- Latino Public Broadcasting
- ITVS (Independent Television Service)
- POV (Point of View).
- Programming Advisory Council for PBS
- 2017 President of National Public Television Programmer’s Association (PTPA) as well as a board member since 2015
