Neil R. Milano

Neil Milano is a senior finance executive with 20+ years of private equity experience working with operationally focused PE firms and has deep experience in medical marijuana, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications.

Neil currently is CFO of the Demeter Investment Group, a cannabis investment fund focused on acquiring retail licenses in multiple states and previously was CFO at Bloomfield Industries, a vertically integrated medical marijuana operator in New York State.   Additionally, Neil was COO and CFO of Bandwidth Logic, Inc., a neutral host Distributed Antenna Systems integrator and owner of indoor and outdoor wireless networks.   Prior to Bandwidth, Neil was CFO at Nautilus Neurosciences, Inc. a specialty pharmaceutical company where he led capital raising, financial operations, sales operations, HR and administration.  Prior to joining Nautilus, Neil was an Operating Executive with Tailwind Capital, responsible for assisting portfolio companies’ operational and financial needs in business services and healthcare.  Before Tailwind, Neil worked with several Warburg, Pincus portfolio companies in the U.S. and Latin America as they prepared for financing and public offerings.

Prior to his private equity experience, Neil was in corporate treasury with Grand Metropolitan, Journal Register Company, The Pullman Company and Johnson & Johnson where he started his career in accounting. He has an MBA Finance (1982) and BS Accounting (1977) from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Neil served as an Executive-In-Residence-CFO at the Commercialization Center for Innovative Technologies where he mentors and advises emerging technology companies at the Commercialization Center for Innovative Technologies (CCIT), the NJEDA’s life sciences incubator.
