Desiree O’Donahue is a Senior Vice President and Lead Consultant in the Employee Benefits practice. Her role is to assist clients in optimizing the value of their employee benefits programs by creating and implementing cost-effective, innovative solutions that are culturally appropriate for each client. Her focus is providing strategic direction, relationship management and directing resources to ensure that the service team is delivering top-notch service to meet the expectation of our clients.
Desiree began her career in Employee Benefits back in 1986 starting out as an administrative professional and grew up in the business. She has held every service position in the Employee Benefits division over a span of 15 years, then transitioned into a senior sales consulting role.
Desiree’s current role is Senior VP/Consultant (for the last 15 years) working with a wide range of employer groups- local, mid-sized to large national companies with multi-site, as well as companies with M & A activity. She manages a service team that serves 21 accounts with over $85 million of premium and is active with business development.
Desiree is a member of the Employee Benefits Planning Association in Southern California and a member of various insurance carrier Advisory Councils. She is licensed in health, life & disability in over 12 states. Desiree is a Southern California native and enjoys interior design projects in her spare time. Currently, she resides with her husband and two sons in Huntington Beach, CA with her oldest son and his wife nearby.
