Ali Gongos was born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She began her career in Columbus, Ohio with a public accounting firm. Although numbers have always been a passion of hers, she quickly realized she is even more passionate about helping people, which sparked her interest and career in recruiting. The opportunity arose in 2015 to become a recruiter, which she excitingly pursued. After returning to Michigan to be closer to family, Ali joined Purple Squirrel Advisors in February 2017. Ali enjoys listening to people and helping them in any way possible. The challenges and opportunities that recruiting provides, allow her to use her analytical and puzzle solving skills. These skills allow her to find just the right candidate for each client we partner with, which is always a thrill for her. In conjunction with using her analytical skills, this allows her to spend more time talking with and helping people, which she thoroughly enjoys. Some of her passions include traveling all over the world, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. Ali was able to attend a study abroad business school program in college where she spent the summer in Europe; she quickly discovered Barcelona is her favorite place in the world so far.
