Dave Shiring is a CPA, former KPMG auditor, controller, chief financial officer, and financial consultant for both public and private companies.
These include roles as chief financial officer of Amtech, the toll tag company, controller for the US data processing group of Philips Electronics, and financial consultant for Jefferson Wells.
Three years ago, he joined Toastmasters and next summer he will reach the level of “Distinguished Toastmaster.” This means he’s written and presented over forty speeches on topics ranging from explaining “Why you cannot exercise your way out of an unhealthy diet” to “The Wright Brothers Flight at Le Mans” to a stand-up comedy routine at the Addison Improv.
He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA from Arizona State University where he was received the Outstanding Graduate Business Student Award.
