Lynne Smith

Lynne Smith is senior vice president, Human Resources for Robert Half. Over the last 25 years, she has shared her considerable organizational, interpersonal communication and consulting skills with dynamic and fast-paced organizations.
 
Throughout her 20-year career with Robert Half, she assumed roles of greater scope and responsibility. Lynne is responsible for global employee experience, talent management, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, HR compliance, diversity and inclusion, and the HR Business Partner team. Lynne’s passion for creating a positive and engaging experience has been the catalyst for several transformation efforts including enhancing the digital experience for our employees to make it easier for them to do their jobs and have a more personalized connection. Lynne is an authentic and transformational leader who strives to create a culture that empowers and connects others and inspires talent.
 
Lynne has a Bachelor of Science from CSU, Sacramento, master’s degree in counseling psychology from the College of Notre Dame, and a certification in career development from John F. Kennedy University.  She is an active member of The California Strategic Human Resource Partnership and Gartner CHRO Community. She currently is serving as the Board Chair for The California Strategic Human Resource Partnership. In 2020, Lynne was recognized with the Most Influential Woman in Bay Area Business award.
