He has been in the field of IT for twenty years and concentrated on cyber security for the last fifteen years, providing security solutions for companies across several industries, including Defense, Managed Security Service Providers, Financial, Commercial and Healthcare. He has also fulfilled many strategic and operational roles, including IT/Cyber Security Operations, Consulting, Security Engineering, Security Architecture, Business Intelligence and Audit. He holds CISSP and GIAC GSEC certifications and has held those certifications for approximately fifteen years.
Mr. Faulkner is responsible for helping clients reduce critical data risk, and driving successful technology-driven outcomes for Symantec, the world’s leading cyber security company. As a leader with expertise in information technology and digital safety across an array of industries, he brings a devout passion for assessing business risk and protecting healthcare systems from advanced attacks. Mr. Faulkner understands the consequences associated with leaving data unprotected in an ever-evolving technology-driven world, and constantly evangelizes alignment between IT and Finance to protect sensitive data – from endpoint to cloud.
