Victor Hartman

Victor Hartman is a retired Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation having served 25 years in various capacities including a “street agent,” executive management, and Chief Division Counsel. For most of his career he was a squad supervisor responsible for complex investigations involving bank fraud, white-collar crime, and corruption. He played leadership roles in both the Enron and WorldCom investigations.

 

Hartman is an attorney and CPA and holds various credentials relating to fraud and forensic accounting. Hartman founded The Hartman Firm specializing in Internal Investigations, Forensic Accounting, and Fraud Mitigation Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia. He represents whistleblowers and has been a court appointed Receiver and Examiner.

 

Hartman is an international speaker on the topic of fraud, an adjunct Professor at Georgia State University where he teaches a Masters’ level forensic accounting course, is the author of the book, The Honest Truth About Fraud: A Retired FBI Agent Tells All, and provides continuing education courses for attorneys, accountants, and fraud examiners.
