Marge Johnsson

Marge Johnsson, a serial entrepreneur, Adjunct Professor/Senior Lecturer on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, will provide an overview of the “Proof of Concept” process she teaches students and new venture start-up clients, to help ensure their new business concepts turn into viable, profitable, new business ventures.

If you’ve ever considered starting your own business – be it hanging out an independent consulting shingle while searching for a new corporate position, launching a business to solve a problem you’ve always wished someone would solve, or just that you think you’d like the freedom to be your own boss, one of the key factors separating an entrepreneurial success from a start-up failure is going through a “Proof of Concept” due diligence process to turn your new venture idea into a viable business.

Unlike other speakers who focus on the emotional and/or psychological evaluation of whether or not you should launch a new business or independent contractor career, Marge’s talk presumes you’ve already made the decision to “test the waters” and will provide FEI’s CMG members with an understanding of a hands-on process by which to test and successfully launch a new business – as either an entrepreneur, independent contractor or the lead of a new product or new service launch within an existing company.
