LuAnna Harmon

LuAnna Harmon is a Special Agent with the FBI. Prior to her 26 year career with the FBI, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Moorhead State University. She later developed vertical market software for MicroAge Computers in Fargo, North Dakota.  In 1990, LuAnna was accepted into the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.  After graduating from the academy, she worked a multitude of violent criminal investigations for the bureau to include bank robberies, kidnappings, fugitives, narcotics and gang related cases.  In 2000, SA Harmon started working cyber investigations and initiated one of the FBI’s first transnational cyber criminal enterprise cases, CardKeeper, tracking international thieves around the world.   She later worked on a Russian Organized Crime Task Force with the Hungarian National Police in Budapest, on a Cyber Task Force with the Romanian National Police, as a Cyber Assistant Legal Attache in Kiev, Ukraine, and with the Korean National Police in Seoul, South Korea as a Cyber Crime Investigator.  While working for the FBI, SA Harmon obtained an MBA at California State University Sacramento. SA Harmon has worked several Russian criminal computer intrusion investigations and is currently working on Business Email Compromise scams.
