A Message From Our President - June 2020

FEI Tampa Bay Members, Sponsors and Friends,

As we close out the 2019 – 2020 program year, there is certainly a lot to reflect on. This year has challenged many of us both personally and professionally, and as a chapter we’ve had to adapt to a new environment.

In-person networking has always been the backbone of our local chapter, and COVID-19 forced us to put those meetings on hold for a portion of the year. We all miss getting together in person and networking with our peers, but the health and safety of our members and sponsors is our top priority.

As the state begins to relax social distancing guidelines, our board will continue to monitor the situation and determine when it is safe for us to resume in-person meetings. For now, the virtual programs hosted by our sponsors will continue through the summer as a way to stay connected and informed as we navigate the remainder of the year.

I want to thank you for your continued support, particularly during this time, and your patience as we adapt to our new reality. Thank you also to our sponsors for stepping up and providing valuable content to help members navigate the complexities of business in a COVID-19 world.

And lastly, thank you to our board members – Brian Adamski, Alyssa Belcher, Don Cleveland, Tim Delikat, Mike Delp, Steve Johnson, Bill Long, Alex Maggi, Jay Nudi, Jim Parker, David Pincus, Art Singleton, Rob Taylor, and Mark Winkler – for your continued support and oversight of our chapter.

We look forward to restarting in-person meetings when it is safe and reasonable to do so. Stay healthy and stay safe. We hope to see you all soon!

Sincerely,

Joanne Dempster
Chapter President
