Evening with John Cox- The Road from Business & Charity to Politics

Keynote Speaker Mr. John Cox

Join us this evening to hear from our Keynote presenter Mr. John Cox, a businessman, accountant, and the Republican nominee for California Governor in 2018 earning nearly 5 million votes, more than any GOP nominee since Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006.  Hear stories from building his own business to joining the world of politics.

Raised by a single mom on the south side of Chicago, John is a Californian by choice.  John built his own business from scratch to a $200 million enterprise with almost 100 employees. He also turned around a major food service manufacturing company, restoring it to profitability and saving jobs. He is active in charitable organizations, and serves as a Board member for the San Diego USO.

John also founded the local branch of Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit that repairs the homes of low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities. Since 1991, the organization has mobilized 20,000 volunteers and repaired over 1,000 homes.  He currently lives in San Diego with his family.
