The Changing Tech Licensing Landscape - Beware of the Auditors


Financial executives will need to navigate through the new vendor licensing models as the technology industry pushes away from on-prem software models to cloud and software as a service (SaaS) based schemes. Regardless where you are at, licensing change is moving at light speed and it will become more difficult to keep the vendor’s auditors at bay. Buckle up, folks–it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.

For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
