This year, although the legislative session is only 35 days, it promises to have major ramifications for Oregon companies. JL will provide an overview of: 1) 2018 legislative dynamics on tax & finance issues; 2) how the outcome of Measure 101 impacts business; 3) Prospects for comprehensive tax reform in Oregon; 4) the legislative push for corporate tax disclosure; 5) the behind the scenes jockeying on tax-related ballot measures; and 6) Highlights of the people involved in shaping tax policy in Oregon. Attendees will leave this session with a clear understanding of current Oregon legislative politics and how it relates to business and tax policy.
