From Planes to Payments: A conversation with PayPal CFO John Rainey

We are pleased to welcome John Rainey, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at PayPal, a member of the WSJ CFO Network and one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2016 ‘CFOs of the Year’.

Having served as CFO of both United Airlines and PayPal, Mr. Rainey brings a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing today’s CFOs.

Two years ago, he made the transition from United Airlines to become the CFO of newly independent PayPal in the wake of the company’s separation from eBay. Drawing on over 20 years of financial management experience, Mr. Rainey will discuss how he made his career transition from a traditional to an emerging, dynamic industry, his current role – the challenges and opportunities he faces as PayPal’s CFO, as well as the transformative power of fintech and how PayPal is leading this transformation.

Please join us for a fireside chat with Mr. Rainey.
