Driving Value Through Environmental, Social and Governance

The pace of societal change and environmental impact is increasing rapidly.  On a global scale, companies are facing challenges from investors and other stakeholders to be proactive in evaluating competitive threats and understanding disruptive market trends, which include environmental and societal concerns. Corporate disclosure of ESG (environmental, social, governance) performance is now table stakes.

We’ll discuss:
  • How ESG risks and opportunities impact the business and industry.
  • How the company is being evaluated by raters and analysts; e.g. how will ESG increasingly impact cost of and access to capital?
  • The role of finance is instilling discipline and rigor around ESG risks, measurement and reporting practices

State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
