"What's next for ACA and Healthcare"

Featured Speaker:

John Kirkpatrick,
Area Senior Vice President, Gallagher Insurance

The Republican congress is moving forward to 'repeal and replace' the ACA, but they are running into resistance from both Democrats and Republicans. What might a new healthcare law or a revised ACA program look like? Come hear our friends at A.J. Gallagher give us their best guesses.

About our Speaker:

Prior to Gallagher, John spent 14 years as the president and founder of Absolute Resource Solutions.  ARS had 20 employees and 100 clients when it was sold in 2012.

John has worked in the field of employee benefits since 1984. He began as a systems analyst for a large national insurer and worked on developing and testing the Eligibility and Claims payment systems for the first POS medical insurance programs.  In 1988 John transferred into the sales operation and acted as the mid-market benefit representative to the NJ broker market for the same national insurer.

John serves on the board of the Patriots’ Path Council which oversees the Boy Scout operations for most of northern NJ.  He is also an officer for the NJ chapter of Financial Executive International (FEI).

A 1984 graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University, John has degrees in Biology and Marine Biology.

John is married since 1991, and in their spare time he and his wife Jillian spend as much time as possible on or in the water either boating, sailing, or scuba diving.  John is a member at Baltusrol Golf Club, an avid fisherman, shooter, and likes to restore cars, trucks and motorcycles.  If it involves FUN, John wants to participate.
