Positively Negative: Turn Any Negative Messages into Positive Ones


Do you know that “stick in the mud” on your team whom you wish could articulate things just a little more positively? As you know, those who know how to articulate unpleasant messages more neutrally or positively at crucial interactions with your senior management are the ones that stand out and eventually win in the work world.

This presentation shares the mindset shifts and techniques needed to be seen as someone with solutions, suggestions, and recommendations while avoiding becoming that hostile, whining complainer that company leaders remember for the wrong reasons. Mastering the skill of being positively negative is a crucial skill that will make that difference.

State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
