Susan Schmitt is a SVP of Human Resources at Rockwell Automation. Her presentation, "Secrets to Success - The Inside Scoop on Career Management" will present a model for understanding how leaders really make talent decisions that affect the lives of employees (selection, promotion, development, and termination).

This model is based on 60 years of global research in large and small, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. The model is simple, powerful, and intuitive, and it can significantly help clarify for employees how to better navigate their careers, reducing the confusion that exists in most companies today on this topic.
