Cyber Threats and Impacts Continue to Rise Despite an Increase in Spend with BDO

Every year the percentage of IT spend dedicated to security continues to rise.  In 2021 the average cyber spend is expected to be over 10%, up from under 5% just a few years ago.  With the steady increase in spend, why does the time to identify an incident continue to be so long (the average breach in 2020 took 280 days to identify)?

To make it worse, the cost of a data breach has risen more than 10% over the past 5 years to a 2020 average of $3.86 million.   What can be done to turn this around?  This presentation will walk through the current trends that are impacting organizations and provide insight on how better visibility and the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence can drastically reduce the time it takes to identify an incident and make better use of technology many organizations already have in place.
