The FEI Detroit Chapter won several awards at this year's Financial Leadership Summit, held at the Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort in Orlando, Florida from May 19-21.
This year’s theme, Inspire Your Tomorrow, focused on the critical role financial leaders have in leading the change to drive business strategy, empower their workforce, and foster a culture to shape organizational success.

MOST OUTSTANDING TIER III CHAPTER AWARD
This award reflects exemplary delivery of value to Chapter members and overall excellence in all areas of Chapter operations, including programming, membership, and financial management.
MOST IMPROVED CHAPTER AWARD
This award honors a single Chapter that entered the current fiscal year facing a range of challenges, recognized that reality, determined the most appropriate corrective course forward and implemented a turn-around action plan.
CHAPTER LEADER OF THE YEAR – SUSAN AYRES, CO-VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS
This award recognizes a member of FEI who is a volunteer leader and has demonstrated exemplary results for their Chapter this fiscal year. This award is a reflection of the outstanding impact that nominees have had – and are continuing to have – in the recent Chapter year as volunteer leaders at their respective Chapters.
