Should Employers Demand Supply Side Health Change?

Warren Buffett has called healthcare costs the "tapeworm of the American economy." Demand-based attempts to slow inflation through increased consumer empowerment are often difficult to measure and inadequate in their impact. The continued cost inflation and volatility is creating a wave of new supply-focused innovations with a promise of delivering higher healthcare quality at a lower cost. Will these supply-focused solutions have the power to tame the tapeworm?
Den Bishop, President, Holmes Murphy
Scott Schoenvogel, President, SimplePay Health

Learning Objectives:  Attendees at this program will:

  • Understand the relationship between supply-based and demand-based healthcare cost drivers and solutions.

  • Learn what products, solutions, and legislation are on the horizon to slow healthcare costs.

  • Learn how to set priorities for their organization based on a supply-side and demand-side filter.
