The Chicago Chapter of FEI will sponsor its annual outing at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park on Sunday, August 6. This will be an opportunity to meet other FEI members and their families in a relaxed setting. This family event will include a lavish buffet dinner and a concert featuring The Chicago Symphony Orchestra playing a program of movie hits by Henry Mancini. Included are songs like “Moon River”, “Days of Wine and Roses”, songs from Pink Panther, Victor/Victoria and many more. (The complete program can be found here.) World famous soloists James Galway and Lady Galway will play their flutes and accompany top vocalists. This delightful musical event should make for a memorable evening.

The concert begins at 5:00pm. The package price includes reserved prime seating in the Pavilion. Wine or other alcoholic beverages are permitted on the lawn but not in the Pavilion. You may wish to arrive early and join fellow members and families on the lawn before the concert. The park opens at 3:00. Casual dress is suggested.

We will have our dinner at the Mirabelle restaurant on the grounds of the Ravinia Festival immediately after the concert, starting at 7:00. There will be a bountiful buffet dinner with many choices of entrees, salads, etc. Dessert and non-alcoholic beverages are included. You may purchase wine or other alcoholic beverages at Mirabelle. We are sure you will find the food and ambiance to be outstanding.

The cost of the dinner with reserved pavilion seating for Chicago Chapter members is $40. Family members can attend at a cost of $50 per person. You may bring non-family members (colleagues, friends) on a space-available basis at a cost of $60. We must receive your paid reservation by July 26. Tickets will be mailed along with information about parking and other transportation.

Purchase your tickets by July 26.
