Understanding the requirements of the new lease accounting standards can help you move forward with confidence.

A new lease accounting standard significantly changes the accounting leasing model that has been in place for several decades. For non-public entities, it is effective for the annual reporting periods beginning after December 15, 2021, and interim periods beginning after December 15, 2022.  Join us on August 25th for an overview of the new standard and practical implementation tips.

Learning Objectives:
  • Identify the key elements and general step-by-step process for implementing the new lease standard ASC 842
  • Recognize leading practices and practical implementation tips based on “lessons learned” from other entities’ implementations
  • Identify how to apply real-world example scenarios to assist in your assessment of what constitutes a lease
