FEI Austin - October 2022 Dinner Meeting - "Monetizing Innovation"

FEI Austin is excited to announce our October dinner event for our members and sponsors only featuring Sara Yamase, Partner of Simon-Kucher & Partners as she explains how to radically improve the odds that your innovation will succeed and go from hoping to monetize to knowing that you will.

Companies obsess over being innovative and spend significant time and expense in designing and building products, yet struggle to monetize them: 72% of innovations fail to meet their financial targets—or fail entirely. Monetizing innovations argues that this is tragic, wasteful, and wrong.

Join us for dinner and drinks on Tuesday, October 18 at Maggiano's Little Italy (Domain) for this informative presentation to learn more about monetizing innovations.

To that end, we will be implementing the following safety protocols as per the guidance of Austin Public Health at our upcoming events until further notice:
  • Attendees who are up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccines and boosters do not need to wear a mask during the event
  • All those who are UNvaccinated, only partially vaccinated, or in a high-risk category are encouraged to wear a mask at all times (except when eating or drinking) OR to not attend
  • Attendees will be asked to sign an FEI Austin COVID-19 waiver (either online during registration or in person at the event) before entering the event space
  • Attendees should try to maintain adequate social distancing, frequently wash or sanitize hands, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or an elbow
  • Attendees are strongly encouraged to stay home if they have recently come into contact with someone with COVID-19 or if they are feeling unwell, including experiencing the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness or breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
