Austin Chapter September 2019 Breakfast Meeting

Please join us for our monthly breakfast meeting on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Austin Country Club as we welcome guest speakers Matt Kouri, President and Founder, Good Works Strategic Advisors and Tony Budet, President and CEO, University Federal Credit Union, as they present "Integrating Profit and Purpose, and Still Doing Both Well."

This presentation will provide a model for thinking about how companies might work to integrate varying degrees and types of social impact into their business strategy, in ways that also add value to the bottom line. Questions explored with participants will include:
  • To what extent is my company currently seriously focused on being a "good" business?
  • Does my company's situation (our industry, clientele, business model, etc.) lend itself well to more intentionally integrating profit with purpose?
  • If so, what kinds of impact would we likely be looking to make in our community/world?
  • How can I as a financial leader best advocate for exploring/implementing this kind of integrated model in my company?
  • What are some tangible examples of where others have had success doing so?

Please note: Non-FEI Austin members are welcome to attend this meeting as a guest. Guest fees for attendees who would qualify for FEI membership are $50, and for those who do not qualify for FEI membership the fee is $200.  To determine whether or not you qualify, pelase check this link: FEI Membership Qualifications.
