If you were to ask a friend, “What are the best cities for jobs today,” you may hear responses like “San Francisco,” “New York City,” and “Chicago.” And sure, they may have cool jobs and enviable skylines, but surprisingly they are not the best cities for jobs. As it turns out, the midsized metros are home to the top five best cities for jobs. That’s right, Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Memphis and Cleveland top the list.

The SEC said on Thursday it ordered Wells Fargo & Co to pay $35 million to settle charges it failed to adequately supervise investment advisers who were recommending high-risk products. The order comes just a week after Wells Fargo & Co agreed to a $3 billion deal with the regulator and the U.S. Department of Justice to resolve criminal charges over its fake-accounts scandal.
