Chapters have always been “about” engagement, and in the past several years, we’ve had a renewed focus on engaging our audiences. The thing is, most of us aren’t really doing it well. Could that be because we’ve been thinking about engagement all wrong, focusing on what we want members to do and how we define value?

Join fellow Chapter Leaders as we discuss a radical shift in our understanding of engagement, one based on a member-centric approach that encourages us to view the world from our members’ perspective, focusing on the of Chapters who’ve transformed themselves into necessary partners in their members’ success, becoming financially healthy, vital, growing, mission-driven organizations. You’ll then have an opportunity to role-play what some of those keys might look like within your own Chapter.

An afternoon of dialogue designed to generate actionable ideas for your Chapter! In keeping with the day’s theme, the concurrent sessions (facilitated by leaders to help guide the dialogue and engage all participants) will generate innovative approaches for delivering value-added services to Chapter members and solutions to the opportunities and challenges that your Chapter faces. Come prepared to share, create and innovate!
