Jeff Karbowski joined PayPal in May 2013 and has over 20 years of experience in various accounting and reporting roles. He is currently the Global Controller at PayPal and is responsible for the accounting close and consolidation, technical accounting, and other general accounting functions. Mr. Karbowski also worked in M&A finance and as the Assistant Controller prior to PayPal’s divesture from eBay in 2015. Prior to joining PayPal, he was the head of Accounting Policy at Skype, initially as a business unit of eBay, through its divesture to a private-equity consortium, and ultimately through its acquisition by Microsoft. Prior to Skype, Mr. Karbowski worked at Ernst & Young in Pittsburgh and in London in their Assurance and Capital Markets practices, respectively. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Virginia University.
