John Wilde is a Partner in the National Office Accounting and Reporting Services group at Deloitte. He is responsible for providing consultations to audit practitioners and clients on complex financial accounting and reporting issues, primarily in areas related to SEC reporting, consolidation and revenue recognition. He also serves as a U.S. National Office liaison partner to several Deloitte audit clients. Previously, Mr. Wilde managed the Global IFRS and Offering Services (GIOS) group for six years in Shanghai and three years in Paris where he supported 17 U.S. IPOs and other U.S. listing-related services, including due diligence, mergers and acquisitions and equity and debt offerings. Mr. Wilde was also the General Motors Regional Managing Partner in Asia Pacific. He has instructed and managed national training programs and facilitated Deloitte’s U.S. Technical Excellence in North America, Europe and Asia. Mr. Wilde has a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting degree from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California and Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
