Mr. Christopher Loy

Christopher Loy is a strategic leader, partner and advisor that has developed high-performing global teams, led and supported significant organizational change, and helped organizations accelerate performance to grow sustainable long-term value.

Mr. Loy is currently CFO of KPS Global, a leader in environmentally and temperature-controlled storage systems for food supply, industrial and scientific applications. He was also CFO of Alpine Silica, an early-stage portfolio company of a large family investment office, where he helped the company graduate from the start-up phase and led efforts to reduce operating costs by over 40% to cope with a severely over-supplied market. He was previously CFO of Superior Silica Sands, a $400 million, publicly traded supplier of proppants used in hydraulic fracturing that traded as Emerge Energy Services LP (NYSE:EMES). While there, he helped the company navigate a historic industry downturn, ultimately leading to a $100 million turnaround in profitability in 2017. Prior to that, he was CFO of an early-stage company providing last-mile transportation services to large regional and national customers engaged in e-commerce, including Amazon. In addition to raising several million dollars in growth capital, he helped support a tripling of revenue to $70 million and expansion into sixteen new US markets in less than a year.

He was also Head of Finance of North America for BT Global Services, a $1.8 billion region of a UK-based technology services provider that was part of British Telecom, and Vice President Finance of an $800 million division of Time Warner Cable, a publicly-traded advanced network technologies and media company. Earlier in his career, he worked in a variety of financial, operational and sales leadership roles with Integrated Electrical Services, AXA Advisors, PepsiCo, and SYSCO Corporation. He began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Loy is a member, director, and past President of the Dallas Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) and currently serves as Chair of the Committee on Finance and Technology, a national advisory group of FEI. He also serves on the Social Enterprise Advisory Board of Catholic Charities – Fort Worth, a recognized innovator in social services. He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance at University of Texas at Dallas. A Certified Public Accountant, he earned a BSBA from the University of Montana and an MBA from SMU Cox School of Business. He is expert in English, proficient in Spanish, and has a working knowledge of both French and Swedish.
