Lauren Hickson

Lauren Hickson is a Manager in Ernst & Young’s Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS) practice in Iselin, New Jersey.She works with clients in matters pertaining to compliance risk, compliance protocol development, fraud investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) reviews and litigation disputes. Hickson has participated in compliance assessments for various pharmaceutical manufacturers around interactions with physicians and the testing of sales and marketing activities such as educational sponsorships, speaking arrangements, consulting arrangements, research grants, charitable contributions and sponsorships and healthcare professional expenses.

 

She has experience managing IRO procedures for multiple corporate integrity agreements. Lauren frequently manages systems review and field testing for areas such as call plans, samples, physician payments, medical inquiries, research and publications, among others. She also assists in the internal compliance monitoring initiatives for several pharmaceutical companies and is responsible for presenting observations to Compliance departments and counsel.

 

Most recently, Hickson coordinated the planning, execution and reporting for the proactive ABAC compliance monitoring program of a global pharmaceutical manufacturer for operating companies across Europe, MENA, CIS, Africa, Latin America and South Asia, including work program and test script development, sample selection, procurement of source system data and process level controls monitoring. She physically oversaw the execution of this work across the Latin American operating companies and routinely participated in discussions with local and above country Compliance Officers, directors and General Managers.
