Debbie Dial is Senior VP and Controller for AT&T Inc. In this role, Ms. Dial oversees accounting policy; financial reporting, both external and management reporting; accounting operations for all segments, including Communications Company, WarnerMedia, and Latin America; and M&A accounting and finance support, which includes valuations and reporting. She also has responsibility for the corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group that oversees the long-term planning and annual budgeting processes. She was appointed to her current position in January 2016.
Before her current role, Ms. Dial served as the Vice President – Finance for AT&T Capital Management, where she was responsible for capital allocation, budgeting, and governance to monitor AT&T’s capital investments that are in the $20B range, annually. Prior to that, Ms. Dial was the CFO for the AT&T Chief Information and Technology officers.
Prior to joining AT&T, she worked for KPMG for ten years where she was an Audit Senior Manager. A native of San Antonio, she earned her Bachelor of Accounting degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
She currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
