Kevin Vranes is the global product lead for Salesforce’s Net Zero Cloud product. He started in the climate change world with a Ph.D. in Ocean and Climate Physics from Columbia University in 2003, then became a Congressional Science Fellow working for U.S. Senator Ron Wyden. Since leaving Capitol Hill in 2004, he has navigated between climate- and energy-focused positions in academia, consulting and software. He was the founding Product Manager of Salesforce’s Sustainability Cloud software in 2019 and currently oversees product strategy and execution for Net Zero Cloud.
