Liz Matson

Liz Matson is a Senior Manager in EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability practice, a multidisciplinary practice that focuses on helping companies understand the risks and opportunities arising from climate change and sustainability issues. With more than 14 years of experience in environment, social and governance (ESG), environmental health and safety (EHS) and engineering, she leads projects to design and implement programs targeted at leveraging technology and improving ESG performance. Ms. Matson has extensive experience in ESG reporting, especially assisting clients across industries in documentation of business processes and controls to support data collection, data calculation, data aggregation and reporting of ESG metrics. She has worked across industries, spanning consumer products, power and utilities, oil and gas, technology, aerospace, manufacturing and hospitality. 

Before joining EY, she spent two years as an environmental consultant and four years as an engineering design consultant, designing water treatment plants and appurtenances. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a degree in Civil Engineering. She is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the State of Illinois.
