Committee on Taxation Meeting - December 2017

FEI’s Committee on Taxation (COT) will hold its quarterly meeting on December 7-8 2017 in Washington, DC. The meeting agenda includes several topics related to comprehensive tax reform and other topics of interest to corporate tax executives. The meeting will kick-off on the evening of December 7th with a networking dinner at the Ritz Carlton, 1150 22nd Street, Washington DC 20037, rooms Plaza I & II, where we will be joining the Committee on Corporate Reporting for this event. The meeting will continue the following day at 8 a.m. at General Dynamics with a full day of presentations and roundtables. Topics expected to be covered at the meeting include the latest on tax reform proposals being put forth in Congress and the White House, an update on tax policy from the Treasury Department, and a discussion with senior IRS officials on current tax administration issues.

Financial Executives International (FEI) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
